Scott and I have been shooting with For Chase Cancer Center for many years and over the past past few months we have been shooting HD video for their website.
Fox Chase Cancer Center is a National Cancer Center that leads in breakthrough science and research and the development and delivery of effective cancer treatments and therapies. Peter and Scott have been developing low impact video and still production methods with the help of the FCCC marketing department, Fern Nibauer and Kim Williams to better tell the amazing Fox Chase Cancer Center story.
With the advent of new digital tapeless workflows and more sensitive HD cameras, Scott and I enter into sensitive environments with little impact when compared with traditional shooting crews, with amazing high production value results. For example, Fox Chase Cancer Center's new web site now features video profiles of surgeons and doctors all shot by either Scott or myself.
This week we completed day one of the "Same Day Surgery" video. When completed this video will be streamed on the Fox Chase Cancer Center website and will help prepare patients for their surgery.
We utilize low power lighting or sometimes no lighting at all. We also utilize camera stabilization systems such as the Glide Cam. We focus our efforts on providing a comfortable and flexible experience for all our clients and the subjects we shoot, and this is a real asset when we shoot with nurses and doctors. It is so important that they deliver their message naturally, clearly and simply for the camera. The whole idea is to make the project look effortless.
